COCONUT VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE
π΄βοΈπ΄βοΈπ΄βοΈ
recipe inspired by: Camino Antwerp and Green Press
recipe type: to drink, to breakfast
cuisine: glutenfree, dairyfree, plantbased
Something I often order at one of my favorite lunch locations in Antwerp Camino.
yes I am lactose intolerant, but it's soooo damn good.
so here is a dairy free option!
to make:
2 cups
1/4 cup Grounded coffee or have cold coffee ready to go!! (here is where you use that coffee you keep on forgetting on the counter while busy doing somthing else)
1/2 liter Filtered water
1/2 can Coconut cream
2 Dates
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla powder or extract
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cardamon
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
ice cubes
what to do:
Add your ground coffee and water to a cold brew coffee maker or french press and leave for 10-24 hours (I just leave mine overnight)
Then make your 'condensed' coconut milk' by blending all the remaining ingredients in a blender
Fill a tall glass with ice and add 40% milk to 60% coffee.
